Scholarships

The Calpine Improvement Association proudly offers scholarships to all local graduating seniors pursuing higher education, including universities, junior colleges, military service, or vocational schools.

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must reside in the community of Calpine/Sattley.

  • Applicant must be a graduating senior of a local high school or accredited home school program

    and planning to enroll in any university, college, military service, or vocational school.

  • Applicant must have a cumulative 2.75 grade point average at the time of application.

  • Applicant will be asked to appear for a personal interview with the Calpine Improvement

    Association Scholarship Committee.

  • The scholarship award will be funded upon proof of completion of one quarter or one semester

    course of study at any university, college, or vocational school.

  • All information submitted will be considered strictly confidential and will only be used for the

    purpose of selection of a scholarship recipient.

  • In the event that multiple applicants are selected, the Committee will make the final decision

    regarding how scholarship funds will be allocated/distributed/divided.

  • Application materials will not be returned.
